While not an Arizona native, to her, this is ‘home.’ With roots here to include her immediate and extended family, she returned to Scottsdale after years of traveling the nation working her way up in corporate America. While she learned a great deal throughout her time in higher education, she learned even more about the importance of the American dream in her own life.
Formerly a traveling homeowner herself, Jessica understood the challenges associated with managing a property from afar. Armed with her experience as a seasoned Property Manager with a team of highly-vetted and very skilled tradespeople already in her queue, Jessica knew she had found the perfect fit in Peace of Mind Home Care Services. In addition, Jessica is a practicing Realtor® specializing in vacation and luxury investment home purchases and sales in the North Scottsdale, Carefree, and Cave Creek areas so she truly understands the needs of luxury second homeowners and their guests.
With her academic background (Jessica holds a Doctorate in Business) and her love for working with people, Jessica has found a business about which she is truly passionate. She understands the importance of a holistic client experience and is committed to ensuring total client satisfaction with the goal of affording her clients total peace of mind while they are away.
Michael Gates is originally from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. In 2013, he moved to Los Angeles for a fresh start. While Los Angeles was a far cry from his life in Tulsa, Michael and his spouse began looking for a forever home which landed them in Phoenix. Like Jessica, he has come to love the area and considers it “home.” Michael and his spouse chose to become foster parents with plans of adopting in the future. The family loves going on hikes around Phoenix and Scottsdale, finding new restaurants, and playing at the parks.
Michael attended school in Oklahoma and began college before moving to LA. He picked it back up when he moved to Arizona and graduated summa cum laude (among other honors) from ASU in May 2020.
In 2016, Jessica hired Michael as a needs-based employee and shortly after due to an influx of clientele, he began working full-time to meet the needs of all clients. It was important to her that her employee be someone she would trust with her own home. Michael’s goals align with Jessica’s: Providing complete peace of mind for clients and ensuring that they know their home is being cared for while they are away.
